Palmerston School is proud to be working towards the Rainbow Flag Award. This is a national quality assurance framework focused on positive LGBT+ inclusion and visibility (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans plus other related identities). 

The award is split into six different areas:

Supportive governors and parents - working towards 

Effective policies - working towards

Inclusive curriculum- working towards 

Pupil voice - working towards
